Immersive Halloween Party

We took over White City House and Shoreditch House at Halloween to deliver two unique, experiential ghoulish parties for members.

The post-apocalyptic immersive party at Shoreditch House saw a 5×2 metre wing of a plane handmade by our in-house fabrication partner, Bearded Kitten Studios, complete with parachute, installed in the rooftop pool. While the library was transformed into a laboratory, complete with a crazy scientist and an amputee experimental artist.

White City House became a haunted hotel for the evening, featuring a seance table, our crystal ball reader, a living painting and lots more spooky performers. The pool area was completely transformed with our light-box moon projection and floating bed, creating an eerie atmosphere and a totally Instagrammable and memorable feature.

The Brief

Soho House wanted a Halloween party that broke the mould - a fully immersive experience that transformed every part of Shoreditch House, creating a high-impact design, a roaming performance, and creative storytelling

Creative Concept

We ran with the theme of “Post Apocalypse,” but gave it a stylised, tongue-in-cheek twist. Think derelict crash sites, bunker labs, radioactive botanicals, and rogue survivors roaming the wreckage. Each floor of the venue would feel like a different chapter in a dark, cinematic world.

The Delivery

Our experiential events team reimagined every inch of Shoreditch House. The reception and lifts were the first touchpoint, dressed with bespoke posters, hand-painted signage and a performer setting the scene. Guests stepped into a bunker bar dripping in foliage, hessian sacks and glowing light boxes scrolling cryptic warnings, with our iconic Angel Wings piece offering the ultimate photo op.

We transformed the Library into a twisted laboratory, where a deranged scientist and his amputee experiment assistant performed unsettling experiments into the early hours. Over in the Maya area, we built a hydroponic grow room lit by UV, with fresh produce and a roaming performer disturbing the peace.

Then came the rooftop pool. A centrepiece moment. We installed a colossal handmade plane wing, complete with parachute, to make it feel like the wreckage had fallen from the sky. Smoke machines and clever lighting brought it to life. Fire performers ignited the space (literally), giving it a high-energy Mad Max vibe.

From costumes and makeup for 40 Soho House staff to workshops, photo moments, and surprise performances, we packed every inch of the house with interactive moments. All of which was installed in just eight hours.

The Impact

Guests were fully immersed from the second they stepped in. The spaces were buzzing, and the strong storytelling kept guests exploring every corner of the house.

Client feedback was glowing, with praise for the performers, the inventiveness of the set design, and the ability to deliver so much within the venue’s constraints.
We gave Shoreditch House a Halloween experience that raised the bar, one that’s still talked about years later!
