Bearded Kitten teamed up with Pokémon to celebrate the highly anticipated launch of The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 1: The Teal Mask DLC for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet.

We gathered a group of renowned influencers from across the UK and Europe, all bonded by one universal love: Pokémon!But this wasn’t your ordinary event. The Block, a brand-new venue in Angel, was transformed into a bustling Pokémon inspired wonderland, where every detail celebrated this universe.

We added an extra layer of fun and competition with Pokémon-inspired fair games and market stalls, where iconic characters took centre stage.This dynamic gathering provided the opportunity for influencers and fans to connect with each other. It showcased the international appeal of Pokémon but also celebrated the spirit of camaraderies and excitement surrounding the latest additions to the Pokémon universe.

Creative Concept

A traditional Japanese summer festival with a Pokémon twist.

We took inspiration from the Kitakami region, crafting an experience where guests could step straight into the game. From lantern-lit pathways and themed market stalls to interactive gaming zones, every inch of the venue was packed with Pokémon magic.

Attendees could try their hand at Pokémon-inspired fair games, feast on festival-style Japanese street food, and sip on Pokémon-themed mocktails. But the real highlight? Four live Pokémon characters making surprise appearances to add a touch of extra enchantment.

The Delivery

We pulled out all the stops to bring this experiential activation to life. Here’s how we did it:

  • Immersive set design: Our in-house creative fabrication team completely transformed The Block, with carefully curated decor and lighting to replicate the in-game festival vibe.
  • Authentic experiences: A secret tea room matched guests with one of the 18 Pokémon energy types, adding a personalised element to their journey.
  • Live character moments: Bringing Pokémon to life with roaming mascots, giving fans the ultimate photo-op.
  • Unforgettable content moments: From a glowing Tera Crystal installation to multiple themed backdrops, we made sure every angle was Instagram-ready.
  • Engagement-first approach: We designed the event flow with social media in mind, ensuring influencers had premium content opportunities at every turn.
