Our biggest year of projects
Last year, we delivered 104 live experiences across every type of experiential delivery going. B2B, B2C, B2E, immersive, ticketed attractions, permanent installations. Rather than hunkering down on one speciality, we proved you can be versatile and maintain quality.
A landmark moment this year was our first-ever permanent installation, the Chimney Lift Experience at Battersea Power Station. Something totally new for us, and something we're enormously proud of.
Our year in experiential (well, a few examples)
We’re proud of every single project this year, big or ‘small’. But two of them did pick up recognition on the awards night itself, so it's only right we give them their flowers.
The Lost Dimensions - Beavertown (Best Debut Event)
Six immersive rooms. 1,400 attendees. Completely sold out. We took Beavertown's "Never Normal" ethos and built The Lost Dimensions: eerie train stations, Berlin-inspired cult raves, 70s game shows. It was ranked #4 in Campaign's Top 10 Live Experiences 2025. Genuinely one of the maddest, most brilliant things we've ever made.
One Last Adventure - Stranger Things, Netflix (Highly Commended, Outdoor Experience)
Brief to live in 30 days. A secret location. 2,500 superfans. Hawkins, rebuilt from scratch, for the people who'd dedicated a decade to the series. Netflix asked us to close a ten-year global phenomenon in a way that felt authentic and a genuine thanks to the fandom. We'd like to think we delivered.
This was also part of a growing multi-project relationship with Netflix, which also included the Outcastaway Cruise, celebrating the release of Wednesday Season 2.
And then there was FWD: London, our returning flagship conference for Intuit Mailchimp, raising the bar for what B2B events can genuinely feel like year on year.
Our team (the best team, officially)
Culture and team wellbeing are such a huge part of our everyday. Last year, 14 new Kittens joined the litter, and 20% of the team were promoted internally. Staff retention was also 88%.
We invested hard in wellbeing, and it fed directly into the work. Culture and performance aren't separate things at BK. They never have been.
Two huge milestones to end one incredible year
The year closed with two things that still feel slightly surreal.First, our very own HQ. A proper home in Farringdon. After years of renting desks, small buildings, and our Beloved Bow, we finally bought a permanent space to make our own.
And second, the big one… Bearded Kitten joined Havas Play UK. Make sure you read more on that, swtill gets us every time.
This is, obviously, a very condensed snapshot at our year. But we couldn't be more proud of our Kitten who did (and always do) work relentlessly to deliver stellar experience. Every time. And we're ever thankful to our clients for trusting us with some amazing projects and letting us fully take the creative reins.
Here's to an even bigger 2026!
