Bearded Kitten is a remarkable brand experience agency… But we were never meant to be an agency at all. Originally established as a madcap festival brand, the name harps back to the days of drawing beards and whiskers on the faces of partygoers.
In our infancy, we toured festivals, hosting mud wrestling matches and building colossal arenas where the audience became the stars of the show.
A decade later nobody would have bet on the rise of Bearded Kitten as a major player… but here we are.
A few months ago we claimed the coveted top spot as Campaigns Creative Experience Agency of the Year and just two weeks ago, we were crowned Gold Award-winners for the Brand Experience Agency of the Year at the Agency of the Year Awards in London.
Mission accomplished? Absolutely not. Our founders Barney Sutton and Timmy Sampson together with Creative Director Joana Ferrao continue to push toward our eternal mission..
....to be brave, champion fun and create epic live experiences.
And how did we achieve this massive award-winning milestone, well don’t take it from us:
The judging panel of 21 senior marketers – chaired by Sainsbury’s and Argos CMO Mark Given – awarded Gold to the agency in recognition of its strong new business year, event output and employee initiatives.
The judges praised our 12 new client wins at a pitch-conversion rate of 75%, bagging new business for brands including Disney, Battersea Power Station and Chase Bank.
As live events returned in a big way, we delivered some of the highest-profile brand experiences on record, including the accessible Chase Bikeathon Village with Olympic gold medallist Chris Hoy at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, and the opening of Battersea Power Station with the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan.
